Baseball Recap: Midlothian Heritage Wins Going Away Against Frisco

Midlothian Heritage never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Frisco on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 12-3 margin over the Frisco Raccoons. The contest marked the Jaguars' most dominant win of the season so far.

Midlothian Heritage got a great performance from Alex Miner as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Carter Rutenbar and Cayden Campbell did most of the damage at the plate: Rutenbar went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Campbell scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Cunningham, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Midlothian Heritage hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frisco struck out seven times.

Midlothian Heritage now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Frisco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
