Soccer Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

After flying high against Gaffney last Wednesday, Northwestern came back down to earth. Northwestern came up short against the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets on Friday, falling 7-0. Northwestern were not able to make up for their loss to Fort Mill from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fort Mill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northwestern will challenge rival Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Mill is set to take on their familiar foe Indian Land at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
