Volleyball Recap: Perry's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

After a string of five wins, Perry's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Margarita Eagles. The Pumas were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Perry's offense was headlined by Kalista Fuller and Ella Gregg, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Campbell Pierratt and her five assists. Fuller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Santa Margarita, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Coincidentally, Perry and Santa Margarita will both be playing Sunrise Mountain the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Pumas will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
