Softball Recap: Grove City Eagles vs. Slippery Rock Rockets
After losing to Slippery Rock the last time they met, Grove City decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles walked away with a 14-10 victory over the Rockets on Thursday. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Rockets on their field since April 24, 2021.
Remi Stillwagon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Lily Rihel, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
Grove City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
