Volleyball Recap: Farmington Falls Despite Big Games from Kylee Day and Kole Riebe

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Corner Canyon Chargers. If the Phoenix were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Chargers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-13.

Farmington's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kole Riebe, who had 11 digs, and Kylee Day, who had 11 assists and two aces.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Corner Canyon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Farmington has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Morgan on the 28th. As for Corner Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Copper Hills on the 28th.
