Volleyball Recap: Palmer Beats Mesa Ridge for Their Fourth Straight Win

Palmer won the last time they faced Mesa Ridge and Hailey Tong did her part to make sure it happened again. The Terrors came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Tong, who had 25 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game.

Palmer was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 29-27, 25-13.

The win (which was Palmer's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5. As for Mesa Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palmer is set to take on their familiar foe Widefield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mesa Ridge will challenge rival Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
