Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Milleson and Jordan Ackerman Secure Win for Kapaun Mt. Carmel

Kapaun Mt. Carmel won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Crusaders won by a set and slipped past the Grizzlies 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-12.

Leading Kapaun Mt. Carmel to victory were Jordan Ackerman and Brooklyn Milleson. Ackerman had four digs and three aces, while Milleson had nine digs and two assists. That's the most digs Milleson has posted over her last six contests.

Despite the loss, Northwest still got an impressive performance from Reese Johnson, who had 20 digs and four assists.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Northwest, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Andale on the 13th. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against South on the 9th.
