Basketball Recap: Billingsley Triumphs

Billingsley won the last time they faced Ellwood Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Billingsley Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Ellwood Christian Eagles 44-42.

Billingsley's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Ellwood Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Billingsley will host Holtville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering Billingsley has lost four straight at home and Holtville five straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum. Ellwood Christian has already played their next match, a 47-34 defeat against Marion on the 25th.
