Newton County Academy won the last time they faced Laurel Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Newton County Academy Generals enjoyed a cozy 50-32 victory over the Laurel Christian Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Generals.

Newton County Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Laurel Christian, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
