T.L. Hanna is 9-1 against Hillcrest since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets will venture away from home to face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. T.L. Hanna's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

T.L. Hanna managed to keep up with Mauldin until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Mavericks, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, T.L. Hanna can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Mauldin are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Hillcrest was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenwood.

Hillcrest's goal came courtesy of Ava DeGree, who's now up to five this season.

T.L. Hanna's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Hillcrest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

T.L. Hanna skirted past Hillcrest 1-0 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
