Softball Preview: Muskego Warriors vs. Waukesha North Northstars

The Muskego Warriors are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Waukesha North Northstars at 4:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Muskego sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Oregon.

Cora Jahimiak looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Autumn Sadler was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run.

Meanwhile, Waukesha North narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Brookfield Central 5-4.

Muskego pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Waukesha North, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
