Basketball Recap: Pryor Comes Up Short

Pryor came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Tahlequah Tigers, falling 58-34. The loss continues a trend for Pryor in their matchups with Tahlequah: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pryor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Tahlequah, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pryor will venture away from home to take on Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pryor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tahlequah, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tahlequah is facing Durant at the right time seeing as Durant is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
