Marion-Franklin came into Friday's matchup having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Independence 76ers by a score of 72-60 on Friday. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Marion-Franklin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Independence, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
