Softball Game Preview: Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights vs. Hill-Murray Pioneers

The Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Hill-Murray Pioneers at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Benilde-St. Margaret's lost 12-1 to Park on Thursday. The Red Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benilde-St. Margaret's saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cece Hanson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Hill-Murray put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Simley a 1-0 shutout.

Hill-Murray's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Benilde-St. Margaret's might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Hill-Murray in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Red Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
