Basketball Recap: Sunset Park Comes Up Short

Sunset Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 38-22 fall against the Barton Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the The HEAT this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-36 back in December of 2024.

Sunset Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Barton, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunset Park will venture away from home to face off against Lafayette at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barton, they will head out on the road to square off against CSI International Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
