Volleyball Recap: Flagler's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Flagler had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Flagler never let Pikes Peak Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24.

Flagler's offense was headlined by Rylie Berry and Sydnie Berry, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Lexi Witt and her 11 assists. Jenna Schier controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Flagler's record is now 3-0. As for Pikes Peak Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Flagler will head out on the road to take on Deer Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Denver Jewish Day on the 26th.
