Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Davenport last Friday, Northwest Christian School came back down to earth. The Northwest Christian School Crusaders came up short against the Reardan Screaming Eagles on Friday, falling 63-39. The contest marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Northwest Christian School lost, don't look at Avi West. Despite the final result, he went 9 for 18 en route to 20 points. West's evening made it 26 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Northwest Christian School's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Reardan, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Northwest Christian School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-17 win against Newport on the 25th. Reardan has also already played their next game, a 78-47 victory against Chewelah on the 25th.
