Baseball Game Preview: Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers vs. St. Charles East Fighting Saints

For the second straight game, Wheaton-Warrenville South will face off against St. Charles East. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Fighting Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Wheaton-Warrenville South made up a huge gap compared to their last game against St. Charles East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Fighting Saints by a score of 13-11 on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Conover made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. Wheaton-Warrenville South is 2-1 when Conover posts three or more RBI, but 11-16 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Franks, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Wheaton-Warrenville South's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for St. Charles East, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-16.
