Volleyball Recap: Catholic - N.I.'s Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Catholic - N.I. and Northlake Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Catholic - N.I. had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Amelie Trappey paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up 17 kills. Trappey got some help from MacKenzie Batiste and her 21 assists. Trappey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
