Largo and Indian Rocks Christian are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Largo Packers will face off against the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Largo's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Indian Rocks Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Indian Rocks Christian will be up against a hot Largo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Largo came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against Pinellas Park.

Largo got a great performance from Brady Allan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. What's more, Allan posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
At the plate, Largo's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Victor Martinez-Morales, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Indian Rocks Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against Calvary Christian, falling 12-1. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.
Largo pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Indian Rocks Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Largo has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Indian Rocks Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Largo beat Indian Rocks Christian 5-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will Largo repeat their success, or does Indian Rocks Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
