Softball Recap: Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Rogers Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-6 back in February.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe May, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Central's win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Rogers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-19.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rogers, they will face off against Muscle Shoals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
