Jay County is 9-1 against Bluffton since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Jay County Patriots will host the Bluffton Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Jay County beat South Adams 49-45. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Starfires are ranked 384th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bluffton, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They skirted past Adams Central 49-46.

Jay County is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Bluffton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Jay County strolled past Bluffton in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 31-14. Will Jay County repeat their success, or does Bluffton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
