Baseball Recap: Oceanside Pirates vs. Westview Wolverines

Oceanside had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 9-17 to make it four. They came up short against the Westview Wolverines, falling 22-0. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

As for Westview, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games.
