Baseball Game Preview: Eagle Rock Eagles vs. Marshall Barristers

For the second straight game, Eagle Rock will face off against Marshall. The Eagles will host the Barristers at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Eagle Rock came up short against Marshall on Monday, falling 11-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Marshall's part, Nicholas Allan spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. Allan has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Marshall is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Eagle Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
