Basketball Recap: Hardeeville Falls to Hampton County in First Game of Season

Hardeeville kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Hampton County Hurricanes, falling 76-26. The Canes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-15.

Darius Brooks was a one-man wrecking crew for Hampton County as he posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaquan Solomon, who had 11 points.

Hardeeville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-18 defeat against South Aiken on the 6th. As for Hampton County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 79-46 win against Allendale-Fairfax on the 5th.
