Volleyball Recap: Dimond Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Dimond entered their tilt with Juneau-Douglas on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Crimson Bears. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lynx also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Anayah Sila paced Dimond's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sila got some help from Puao Asailevai and her 14 assists. Althea Olarte controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dimond's victory bumped their record up to 23-9-1. As for Juneau-Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-15-6.

Dimond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Barrow on the 24th. As for Juneau-Douglas, they have also already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Mountain City Christian Academy on the 24th.
