Baseball Recap: West Vigo Takes a Loss

West Vigo blew Sullivan out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Sullivan got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Golden Arrows by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the defeat, West Vigo broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7. As for Sullivan, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Vigo will face off against Indy Genesis HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sullivan, they will challenge Vincennes Lincoln at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
