Basketball Preview: Midview Middies vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs
Midview and Olmsted Falls are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Midview Middies will challenge the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Midview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.
Midview will head into Tuesday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt an 81-45 defeat at the hands of Elyria. The Middies haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Midview had strong showings from Brady Newton, who went 8 of 17 on his way to 16 points along with seven boards and three blocks, and Xavier Young, who went 6 of 9 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. Meanwhile, Olmsted Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 86-76 to Berea-Midpark. The Bulldogs were up 27-11 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Olmsted Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Midview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
