Volleyball Recap: Westfall Mustangs vs. Unioto Shermans

Westfall proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Unioto Shermans 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted since September 24, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Westfall got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-27, 25-14, 23-25, 15-8.

Joni Snyder had an outrageously good game as she had 11 digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Cora Bruce was another key player, getting nine digs and three aces.
