Volleyball Game Preview: Holy Name Green Wave vs. Beaumont School Blue Streaks

Holy Name has gone 6-1 against Beaumont School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Green Wave will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Streaks at 6:30 p.m. Holy Name is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Holy Name came up short against North Catholic and fell 3-1.

Despite the loss, Holy Name had strong showings from Isabella Dinya, who had nine digs and two aces, and Cindy Viera, who had seven digs and two aces. Dinya is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Meanwhile, Beaumont School lost 3-0 to Padua Franciscan on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

Beaumont School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Holy Name, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Holy Name took their victory against Beaumont School when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Green Wave repeat their success, or do the Blue Streaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
