Baseball Recap: Meade Comes Up Short

Meade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Arundel Wildcats, falling 32-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Meade saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Roque, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That hit was Roque's first of the season.

Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Arundel, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Meade is set to face off against their familiar foe Severna Park at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Arundel will take on rival Annapolis at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
