Basketball Recap: Wendell Gets the Win

Wendell's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 23-11 win over the Wood River Wolverines. The 23-point effort marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Wendell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Wood River, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Wendell has already played their next game, a 56-29 victory against Shoshone on the 25th. As for Wood River, they will head out to face off against Gooding at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
