Softball Recap: Lake View Takes a Loss

Lake View had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 7-8 to make it four. They fell just short of the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders by a score of 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Hannah-Pamplico, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.

For Hannah-Pamplico's part, the team relied heavily on Meredith Stone, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Payten Poston, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Lake View nor Hannah-Pamplico have any future games scheduled.
