Wasilla is 8-2 against South Anchorage since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will take on the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m.

Wasilla is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Chugiak, who was ranked sixth at the time (Wasilla was ranked 16th). The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, South Anchorage entered their tilt with Eagle River on Tuesday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wolves.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Wasilla, they dropped their record down to 14-12-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Wasilla came out on top in a nail-biter against South Anchorage in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
