Basketball Recap: West Columbus Takes a Loss

West Columbus managed to slip by Whiteville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The West Columbus Vikings came up short against the Whiteville Wolfpack on Saturday, falling 68-45. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

West Columbus dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Whiteville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

While West Columbus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
