Basketball Recap: Booker T. Washington Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 60-35 to the North Miami Beach Chargers. The Tornadoes were down 42-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Among those leading the charge was Jephte Noel, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taniel Louis-Jeune, who posted eight points and 15 rebounds.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Miami Beach, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will take on Immaculata-La Salle in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Booker T. Washington is facing Immaculata-La Salle at the right time seeing as Immaculata-La Salle is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North Miami Beach, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Miami Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
