Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rock Creek Academy). They blew past the Columbus Christian Crusaders 55-32 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Columbus Christian still got an impressive performance from Emma Murray, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. What's more, Murray also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Rock Creek Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Columbus Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Creek Academy has already played their next matchup (against Portland Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Columbus Christian will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
