Baseball Game Preview: Lone Peak Knights vs. Skyridge Falcons

For the second straight game, Lone Peak will face off against Skyridge. The Knights will square off against the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lone Peak is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Skyridge on Wednesday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Grady Slesk spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dallin Scharmann was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Lone Peak has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Skyridge, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6.
