Volleyball Recap: Rim of the World Takes a Loss

Rim of the World was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Fontana Steelers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Steelers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-16, 25-11.

Rim of the World's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Fontana, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rim of the World will challenge rival Eisenhower at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fontana is set to take on their familiar foe Rialto at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
