Basketball Recap: Northridge Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

Northridge won the last time they faced Tippecanoe Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Northridge Raiders put the hurt on the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings with a sharp 58-32 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Northridge was led to victory by Lily Scholl and Rielyn Goodwin. Scholl almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards, while Goodwin posted 12 points in addition to six assists and six boards. The game was Scholl's third in a row with at least ten points.

Northridge's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.8 points. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Northridge will challenge Warsaw at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. Warsaw will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they will square off against Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
