Basketball Recap: Warsaw Takes a Loss

Warsaw lost against Caledonia-Mumford back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warsaw Tigers were beaten by the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders 64-15. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 712th, while the Raiders are ranked 147th).

Warsaw dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Warsaw will face off against Wayland-Cohocton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will square off against York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in York's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
