Loomis took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 48-6 win over the Blue Hill Bobcats at home. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 54-32 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jace Schukar had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 203 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Jaxson Sweeney, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

Loomis wouldn't let Blue Hill keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Loomis can thank Walter Kenney and Tyson Freeman for forcing both of them. Kenney didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made three total tackles.

Loomis will head out to square off against Axtell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blue Hill, they will challenge Lawrence-Nelson on Friday. Blue Hill is looking for their season?s first victory.
