Basketball Game Preview: Western vs. Flowers Jaguars

Western will face off against the Flowers Jaguars on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Western comes in on 13 and Flowers on 17.

Western is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Reservoir by a score of 68-61.

Meanwhile, Flowers was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Richard Montgomery 60-29. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Flowers' win came from a few key players Western will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyla Graham, who went 8-for-18 on her way to 20 points along with five boards and five steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Ava Redmond was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

Flowers pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Western, their win bumped their record up to 21-3.
