Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Field Kindley Golden Tornado.

Columbus was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 5-29-1. As for Field Kindley, their victory ended an 11-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-22-1.

Looking ahead, Columbus will venture away from home to take on Riverton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Field Kindley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Independence on the 16th.
