Basketball Recap: Perry Hall Christian Comes Up Short

Perry Hall Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 67-48 fall against the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles. While losing is never fun, Perry Hall Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while Maryland School for the Deaf is ranked 47th).

Perry Hall Christian now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry Hall Christian will face off against Covenant Life at 6:45 p.m. on February 4th. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they will take on Mount Airy Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Maryland School for the Deaf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Mount Airy Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
