Baseball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 13-0 to the Rochelle Hubs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Harvard saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Bennett, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Rochelle, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-19.

Harvard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rochelle, they will face off against DeKalb at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
