Notre Dame wins going away against Barker

Recap: Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Barker Bulldogs
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Barker 71-46. That's another feather in the cap for Notre Dame, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Notre Dame was led to victory by Jaden Sherwood and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Sherwood dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Fitzpatrick scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of George Woodruff, who scored 6 points.
Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Barker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will take on Royalton-Hartland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Royalton-Hartland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Tuesday. As for Barker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alden at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
