Baseball Recap: Copan Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Copan lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Oklahoma Union, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Cougars on Thursday. Considering the Hornets have won three games by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Copan, bringing their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Oklahoma Union, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
