Softball Recap: Tippecanoe's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tippecanoe waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Belmont Bison a 17-0 shutout. Considering the Red Devils have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tippecanoe's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Belmont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coming up, Tippecanoe will face off against Miamisburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
