Softball Recap: El Monte Lions vs. Gabrielino Eagles

El Monte can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 16-2 margin over the Gabrielino Eagles. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for El Monte considering their two-run performance the game before.

Eve Reyes made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Reyes was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with a triple and a run.
